Frankincense Resin w/Coals

Also known as liquid gold or Boswellia serrata, this Frankincense resin is extracted from the Boswellia tree that is found in North Africa, India, and southern Arabia. Frankincense assists in removing negative energy from a space, providing protection, and creating an elevated spiritual awareness. It is often used to lift moods, to ease anxiety and stress, and for purification.

How to Use:

  • Light an edge of the coal with a lighter. (Hold it on the opposite side!). When it starts to sparkle a bit or make a slight crackling, hissing sound, then the coal has been activated and it’s igniting.
  • Place your coal in/on the burning vessel of choice (be sure it is not flammable or meltable, and give it at least one minute to sit. I usually wait till I can see a fine layer of white ash covering the coal, which tells me it is well-lit and the melting resins will not smother it and put it out.
  • Take a few small pieces of frankincense resin, ( the size of small pea or a lentil), and place them on the coal. It will shortly release its fragrance and smoke, and there you have it. Pure, natural incense.

Never leave lit charcoal unattended, or close to flammable materials.
